Toothy at the ready to photobomb pictures of interesting things for Internet Points

It’s been fun. I have about 150 points worth of stuff mapped out, but it’d take the entire rest of today to drive around and get it, and I don’t have time for that today. With the event ending overnight, that means this is the end.

I did better than anticipated (though as expected, Score = [free time]^2 * [how interesting is where you live]) since I was able to con a couple friends into looking for stuff for me to then go around and observe/photograph. That said, living in my house alone and working full time means I can’t exactly spend days and days out looking for Cool Stuff.

The top 3-5 places look to be a pretty close one, look forward to seeing the final scores!

Yes, it has really been a bright spot in a very dreary year. I have to post a bunch of stuff today so I might climb a few places. I lost my lead once I actually had to do important things.

I have 20 spots mapped out and could get it done with one more day. But I prioritized the Indy 500 and thus I’m pretty much out.

I grabbed a few final things on my way back from Texas today, but I realized that I wasn’t going to make the top ten, so it became a low priority after the first weekend. It was a ton of fun and it was a great excuse to spend a full day with the family before my daughter left for college.
